We were all amazed how fast he ran the hurdles. This kid is a natural!

I think I may have the fastest 4 year old in Utah!! Last week I took my boys to a mini me track meet at East high school. They participated in 3 events: 50m, 100m, and mini hurdles. Braxten and Audric did great. Braxten took first in all three events and Audric placed 4th and 5th. Audric is just learning how to race but he'll get faster.




Braxten also finished the season playing soccer. He scored 13 goals in 8 games which is really good compared to the 3 goals his team made. It feels so good when you hear other parents scream and cheer braxten's name....I hope he continues to love sports.

We really had a great time this year despite the rain. I'm just glad we were blessed with sunshine on the day we went out on 4 wheelers. I can't wait for next year!!

I am so proud of these boys! Braxten and Audric are learning at a young age what competition is. Braxten and Audric had a great time. If you want to race your kids let me know, they have little kids races each month. To see results of the race click here . They post the results each month along with pictures. Braxten had the 2nd fastest time it would have been close if he didn't fall down at the beginning. There were only two kids in Audrics division he ended up being the only one to finish the race.

When we arrived to Sugar House Park there wasn't many young kids there but I couldn't help sizing up the competition. I saw these two little boys that looked a bit bigger than Audric. I thought Braxten would beat them but those two boys ended up winning the race. The way they ran was amazing! The boys Braxten did race were 5-8yr olds. He was the only 4 year old. Although Braxten didn't come in 1st place he still ran a fast mile 9min 13 seconds. I'm proud that he didn't stop once along the way. He still had fun and he did get a ribbon for 5th place and a prize from the event. There is another race on April 11th for ages 1-3, and 4-9. Braxten and Audric will run the 200m, 1/2 mile and maybe the Mile. If you guys want some information let me know.
My sister Nativa ran the 5 k. I ran a little less then half of it with her and I was pooped! I've been talking trash to her about me being the natural athlete in the family and I told her I could beat her in any sport by singing "anything you can do, I can do better" LOL. I give her props for staying active in sports unlike myself who lives through my boys LOL just kidding. She came in 2nd place for her division good job sis!

Tomorrow Braxten will be running his 2nd 1 mile race. Braxten is physically fast for his age. It doesn't matter who you are or how big you are Braxten will race you and take you down!! Hahaha....When you see him ask him what his nick name is? He will respond "SPEED".
